The extensive garden with sun loungers and parasols is perfect for sunbathing, and our children’s playground with a table tennis table provides the perfect pastime for the little ones!
Go on a bike ride using our bicycles, and explore our beautiful region!

True Tyrolean tradition lives on - the Wilder Kaiser Mountains seem close enough to touch!

The typical Tyrolean village, with its traditional farms, is located at an altitude of 800 m at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. Small and beautiful - a fitting description of our village. Everything is peacefully here, you have time to breathe, and time seems to stand still!

The centuries-old farmhouses around the baroque church “Zum Heiligen Kreuz” (“The Holy Cross”) make Going’s village square one of the most beautiful in Tyrol. This probably also explains why it was one of the main filming locations of the TV series “Der Bergdoktor”!

For people who are looking for something special - immersed in nature.

The nature at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains, the peace and coziness, but also sports activities from golf to hiking, from climbing in the wild romanticism of the mountains. From swimming in the most beautiful natural bathing lakes in Tyrol - to cycling, mountain biking and horse riding at the Lippizzaner Stud Farm and Stanglwirt Riding School, to the craft markets and the children’s activity program - a vacation in Going is special.

Here you will find all about the specialevents and about the weekly programme!

Summer activities

In both the summer and the winter, the Schederehaus is an ideal starting point for outings and sporting activities.

The “Kaiser” way of bathing – Swimming lake Going

The swimming lake is situated on the edge of a forest, with a panoramic view of the Kaiser Mountains. It is rightfully referred to as the most beautiful natural bathing lake in Tyrol, and not just because it is constantly fed by the springs of the Wilder Kaiser.

On the flat, white beach with separate bays for children and non-swimmers, the water warms up to a pleasant 24 degrees. A hundred meter long open air slide and a wide water slide will make your bathing experience a highlight of your vacation!

In addition, the little ones can run around in the adventure playground, which has a pirate ship, while the adults enjoy the lake buffet, or breathe in the fresh mountain air in the 50,000 m² sunbathing area on the shore of the lake.
